Captured rinkside at Ball Arena, the matchup between the New York Rangers and Colorado Avalanche during the 2024–2025 NHL season.

NHL restrictions limit lens length to under four inches. Working behind acrylic with vintage and slower lenses meant higher apertures, less light, and deeper depth of field. Instead of fighting those constraints, I leaned into motion. Attempting to find stillness inside velocity, and clarity in the chaos. A study in speed, friction, and proximity.
