Nashville Predators at Colorado Avalanche

Shot from just inches off the ice, the Nashville Predators vs the Colorado Avalanche at Denver’s Ball Arena during the 2024–2025 NHL season.

NHL restrictions limit lens length to under four inches. Working behind acrylic with vintage and slower lenses meant higher apertures, less light, and deeper depth of field. Instead of fighting those constraints, I leaned into motion. Attempting to find stillness inside velocity, and clarity in the chaos. A study in speed, friction, and proximity.
